HONDA OPTIONAL AUDIO CONSOLE
I just recently purchased this Audio Console off of ebay for my 92' hatch. I installed it last night in the cold. So excited to finally put this thing in but then when i put it all together it doesn't fit perfectly.
I'm totally bumbed out about that. I figure since Honda made it it should fit perfectly, am i right?? Anyways, so I've done some searches on it and everyone says its supposed to fit perfectly also. That's not making me to happy cuz my doesn't.
So my question is has anyone of you guys on H-T had issues with yours?? And if you did would you tell me what you did to solve it or maybe what i did wrong...
Thanks for any help.

Re: HONDA OPTIONAL AUDIO CONSOLE (prestoizm)
Did you buy it brand new or used? I've had two audio consoles. The first one I picked up from a junkyard about 3 years ago. However, it was missing a few brackets and screws. Decided to buy a brand new one from Honda. The fitment was perfect, however, I've noticed the degredation in the quality of the console (i.e. the metal frame structure is made out of cheap-o sheet metal as opposed to my junkyard setup, which was made of solid steel tubings, etc.).
If you screw everything in and install everything as the instructions stated, it should be a perfect fitment.

Re: HONDA OPTIONAL AUDIO CONSOLE (prestoizm)
Thanks guys for all the help. I ended up fixing it myself before i even read your guys's post. The problem i was having was that the plastic piece that held the cig. lighter was in the lil ditch. It was really supposed to be on top of the center colum where the shifter is. I ended up just lifting it on top of it and then everything just fit right into place.
Now, everything looks clean as fawk!! Hella happy!
Thanks, everyone for trying to help!

Mine doesn't fit perfectly either. No one can tell unless you get up on it and look at the sides, where it touches the dash. One side has a slight little gap.
Does anyone know where I can pick up a piece to fit in that blank space?
