Default Honda Oil Fill cap

Quick question - I have lost my oil fill cap for my 99 Si (B16A2) And I'm curious if all the oil fill caps on honda's civics are the same? Or will I have to buy one specifically for the B series engine?

I'm inclined to say yes. But your best bet would be to simply check part numbers and verify it.

Awesome. Will do! Thanks Grumble.

After I figure it out with the part numbers I'll post the answer on here, if someone doesn't come across it first.

Juggernaut - haha. One could only imagine.

If you saw my garage you wouldn't have to ask that. I manage to lose things after I've placed them right next to me when I've worked on my car.

Hey I have my old one. It's the OEM oil cap. Check out this listing and you can buy it from me. I can discount it a little if you like.

The worst is when I'm at the junkyard -- I designate a place to put things down and still things manage to walk away. Mostly happens with sockets. I will put them on the seat of the car, and they will reappear in the footwell minutes later, even after I looked there a dozen times for it.

If anything makes me think there are mini black holes in the universe or that some sort of mischievous gremlin is playing mind games with me, it's times like this. It's gotta be the same gremlin that eats socks out of the dryer. Why only eat one sock out of a pair? I have so many mismatched socks now I don't even care and wear different ones all the time as I have admitted defeat.
