Default honda motor swap need help

i have a 98 honda civic dx with a d16 motor and an automatic tranny. i used to have a 90 acura integra with a b18 and bought a jdm b20 to put in the integra but the integra got stollen so now i have a d series honda and a b series motor. wondering if you all could help me figure out exaclty what i need to change a d series to a b series. ive hurd that the b series computer bolts right into the serial ports from the civic. i also need a b18 intake and distributor and b series motor mounts. is there anything else that i will need? and will the computer need to be obd2 or does it matter? and i wanted to switch it to a manual so do i need all the cable linkage for a d series motor or a b series motor? need some help please

you need a hydro B-series trans, b-series shift linkages, id swap it over to obd1 with a jumper harness (if you can) and get a chipped ls ecu for the b20

read up on it will do you alot of favors and you learn more about it

what are you trying to do? are you still gonna keep the auto or switch it to manual? if your gonna keep the auto still, good luck on that because its a pain to do with a b series motor. but if your planning to swap your auto over to a manual and then use that motor it will be a piece of cake. everything will drop in if you have the right parts for it. as far as ecu goes if its not going to plug and play at all since they are both different OBD ecu unless you get a jumper harness for it...
