honda hatchback eg igition remove.... need some help on swaping out one for another.

Default honda hatchback eg igition remove.... need some help on swaping out one for another.

I aready remove the wires and what not... but theres two bolts that hold it to the steering colum.. the bolts are smooth... so you cant used a screw driver or flat head. I can drill or cut it off... but how would I go on putting it back on my car. So its fitted and not lose????? please help me. thanks ht members.

Those bolts are made so that the bolt head snaps off at the right torque when installing. you can cut a slot in the top with a dremel and use a screw driver to lossen and tighten. or you can order those bolts from the dealer. It doesn't matter if you reuse the bolt with the slot cut in it, it's up to you.

thanks for the info... i did cut a slit for a flat head and it worked great.
