3 minute bump followed by 4 minute bump at near 2 AM, cool!
Cleaned idle air control valve, checked for gasket leaks? Code 40 is weird.

yea really. starting a thread isn't like carrying on an aim conversation.
ok first off there is no code 40... there is a code 4 however. and a crankshaft position sensor being muffed up (which is inside your dizzy btw) could certainly cause something like what you're describing.

Whoever is "reading" the codes may not be reading it correctly. If the CEL light flashes four times in a quick manner, it's CODE 4....not CODE 40.

what is the car doing first off? It might be easier to diagnose by actual problems than a mystery code that could be a ecu problem or something

Re: Honda experts prepare to trip out
he already said he swapped dizzys on another car and didn't pop up code 4 so his dizzy is good. and code 4 would be for the sensor in the dizzy.

its called a ghost code it when the a resistor on the ecu board is burnt or if the ecu is chipped and the tune is not sync it will through a ghost code try changing your ecu and see what that does
