Honda Civic with a ZC swap
Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem I have with my 88 Honda Civic. Well to start off I just bought the car not too long ago and it came with a ZC swap. I bought the car and two days later i ran the car at about 5500 rpm on the first three gears to see how good it ran and everything was fine. The only thing that was wrong was that my fans werent working so I connected one of my fans the small one directly to turn on when ever the car was started and that same day the car started to overheat and i turned it off and let it cool down and evertything was fine after that. But then a few days later when i used the car again when the car reached 4000 rpm it would bogg and the check engine light would come on and when i check the error message from the ecu it gives me 6 and 8 and i checked both things on the car and both were working after i changed the temperature sensor. The one thing that was happening when ever it did bogg is that the temperature is way up and when you open the hood the engine is perfectly cool and perfect. The car works fine as long as you dont reach 4000 rpm nothing happens and yeah i have both fans working now. Also whenever the car is on and i turn on the hazards the temperature neddle goes up according to how the hazards blink. If someone could help i would really appreciate it THANX
