Re: Honda Civic Stolen!!!
well they found the car... pix will be up later as soon as my brother sends them to me... the car was found with absolutely no interior no motor no trans it was on steelies with no suspension no exhaust no bumpers no fenders no lights no hood no trunk and no windows. there is not one piece of the car that is salvageable except for the steelies the rolled into the street with on just the hubs and stock control arms. the steering column was gone every wire pulled and the heater core and vent tubes were also taken.
Whats sucks the most is that even if we wanted to rebuild it we cant cause they cut the frame to remove the engine...
The car was found on 45th street in palm beach

damn i always tell people that FL isn't bad when it comes to grand theft auto but that seems to be changing. I know when was in highschool back in 2006 you really didnt have to worry about getting you car stolen.

That's the worst part. These dudes are real d*ckheads with the fact that they actually steal the car, then they're assh*les and dirt the whole car so you can't even put it back together.
My DC2 GSR was stolen about two months ago to the same fate, hell at least they left yours on steelies, I didn't even get that.
It's terrible because it's making alot of guys get out of the game, just because they're hard earned hours turn into cut frames and gasoline poured into the interior.
It's a shame some of us spend more time securing our car then we should, I mean some of these are 15+ year old cars getting stolen, and the theives don't even get half of what we paid for most of the parts. Or they take the motor for themselves and blow it up since they don't appreciate it.
Sorry to hear man, I feel your pain. Try and turn it into something positive. This will give you a chance to start over (if you've decided to stay in the game) and watch the transformation of something else faster. Next time do your best to have the alarm with backup battery, and block it in, and...I can't even think of what else.

Re: Honda Civic Stolen!!!
buy lojack or forcetracker or something. Its a one time fee, usually less than $1000. It will GPS track your car and you can recover it hopefully before alot of damage is done. It may seem like a high price, but if you let your insurance know, they will drop your rate, so you will save over time. $1000 is usually a small percentage of the amount of time and money you put into your car.

Re: Honda Civic Stolen!!!
i need to look into that gps that your taking about. Right now im in the navy so living on base i dont have to worry to much about my car being stolen. I will though have to start worrying once i get out though and do have a build on the way for my bottom so even more of a reason to get it.
Sorry about jacking your thread but on another note though once they start to steal their not going to stop unless they get busted.

Re: Honda Civic Stolen!!!
Just cuz your car is on base does not make it safe. My buddy's friends truck was stolen at Camp Lejeune and had his interior trashed, and they stole his stereo and all that crap.

being on base doesn't make you safe. trust me. i know of at least 4 situations of fully built cars stolen on base...one where the car was stripped of motor and wheels in the same spot it was parked. spend the $ on security, i'd hate to see what happened to me happen to you.
