the stereo ( top portion with tuner) is fastened to a bracket the runs across the dash behind the big a/c stereo portion of trim...if i remember correctly, there is a bracket that is screwed onto the back of the stereo, makes a 90degree bend and is screwed onto the afformentioned barcket. to get to it you'll need to first reomve all of the lower dash pieces (3 of them).

**** if you lay on your back and look up at the bttom backside of the radio, you'll see the screw(s)...can't remember how may there are, not more than three.****

the stock deck is held by screws from the rear of the deck. you'll have to remove that lower panel where the power outlet is at to gain access to those screws.

is it screws or bolts? so remove all three panels, ie. glove box, cigareete lighter panel, and steering column panel right? then i should be able to see it correct?

edit: i looked at it a couple months ago and couldn't figure it out, so had the deck installed by car stereo city(free installation), now it's time to change decks.

i think you need to remove the leftside panel completely, but you can bend your glove box over the stop, so you don't have to remove it ( pass. side panel). but the screws to the middle piece are hidden by the glove box, and the driver side panel. take off the center piece, and they'll be screws. phillips.
