Honda Civic LX 97 automatic Driver side Power Window stuck, Help please
Hi Guys,
Today morning when i tried to lower the driver side power window, i heard a click sound adn then the motor started rotating but the window got stuck and never goes down or up. The motor seem to make sound.
Can the experienced guys help me what to do now ?
How difficult it is to fix it ? Can i do it myself, buying parts ? how much it might cost if i need to get it done via a mechanic ?
please please help, waiting ......
Appreciate your help

The door panel has to be taken off and I bet the bar at the bottom of the glass slipped off. If you're handy with tools and have some patience, you can take that door panel off within 15 minutes to see what the problem is. Then you go from there depending on what lurks inside.

If you do a search on this you'll see that this topic has been covered in depth. You're going to need a new window regulator (used is less if you can find one).
Just remember to lubricate your window tracks so you won't have this same problem happen to you in the future.

Guys,
Thanks for the responses. I took out the door panel and noticed that the metallic cable near the motor got broken and that's why the window dosen't move et all.
I need to know, if i will be able to get a new cable and then replace the cable or i need to replace the whole motor that has the cable with it.
Thanks
