Honda Civic LX 1998 (Canada VIN) non vTech AC issue : (
Not sure if you guys are able to help. I have a 1998 Honda Civic LX.
Recently when I needed the head cylinder block replaced (welded in spark plugs due to overheating), the person doing it had to unplug a bunch of things. One of these was AC.
The guy told me himself that he couldn't figure out where to connect the wire back to. It's a red wire. I looked around, got an Edmunds guide, nothing there useful.
With nice August temperatures, I have taken the car to a mechanic shop and they found a red wire , appears to be electrical. Terrific... They say they don't know where to plug it in either, it is a red wire at the bottom of the car.
I'm just trying to get more insight on my problem as I had to pay them money for them to literally tell me they don't know where it goes... and I have to go to an electric place. Help : (
