Default Honda Civic Headlights

I have a 97 Civic. I've been looking around for headlights and the only ones I like are posted for 99 and 2000 Civics. Will they fit on my car?

Nope, the grill is wider on the 99-00 models you'll need new hood, fenders, bumper cover, and grill. The radiator support is different too, but with some finoobulasion it'll all fit like stock. good luck, cost me about 600 bucks with headlights, looks good though

No, they will not directly bolt up. However, if you do want them that bad you can look into doing a 99-00 front end conversion. Basically, you need to get a new hood, fenders, bumper, grille and ofcourse the headlights. From that point, it's a straight bolt up.

you can purchase SIR headlights or CTR headlights from several shops rather than having to convert your whole front end.

or you can do what i did and take out a hour and 15 minutes 2 take yours apart and spray the housings... get some engine enamel (i used flat black for base coats and one low black gloss for finish) and some liquid nails ... cheap as hell and no waiting for shipping

i never seen a point in doing the 99-00 conversion, what performance benefits does it bring? if its just for aesthetic reasons, i would put my money elsewere, the 96-98 front end looks just as good with a lip and some CTR lights.

This is strictly an appearance mod. After all it is his car, let him do what he wants with it.
