Honda Civic/GSR won't start -- but that's not all!
I think we've diagnosed the issue to be the starter. However, we're trying to cover every possibility before spending X amount of dollars for a part that may not actually be broken. I found this on my floor mat this morning and wondered what exactly these pieces used to be before my car decided it would stop starting.
I also tapped the starter with a hammer multiple times and sometimes out of anger, but it still didn't work. Oops? or not?

thats the rubber stopper for your clutch pedal to engauge the neutral safty switch... its keeping the car from starting..... u can put anything in there(nut n bolt, plastic push clip) to keep the button pressed back untill u get another stopper or buy a plastic push clip from autozone that fits.
