Can anyone here tell me why as soon as my 96 Handa civic vtec warms up it starts to run bad. In the morning it will run good but 10 to 30 mins later I can hear egine rattle when I accelarate especially in first gear (automatic trany) and run rough.. May I state that the trany speed sensor when bad last week I changed it but the speedometer still going crazy so I unpluged it because if I leave it pluged the trany spins and then jerks when the gear goes in.. Any how can someone please help.. I have change all the cables, spark plugs, rotor and cap on distributor I see spark in all cables when I
unplug while car is running..Is ti possible the distributor is faulty and not working well when warm. Please help so fustrated with this.

yes I have a 02 ( oxygen sensor ) 05 ( speed sensor and a 74 misfire. but I've checked all my wires, plugs, rotor & cap and there is spark to all of them.. I presured tested the enging saturday all is good.. someone told me to replace the distributor but I don't want to change things just to to it.. I think the missfire code comes on cause of unpug the wire while the car is running there for trigering a missfire code..or could it be that it is really misfiring when running and the distributor is faulty..
