go ahead and do it, Honda challenge is a very very cheap way of getting into racing, some people run stock daily drivers in h4
i JUST started the project, the rest of the car currentley has an optima battery in the trunk, it is getting a roll cage, the sound deadning **** needs to come out
suspension kyb's and tein springs which are illegal
fluidyne radiator (still need to drain the coolant, replace with water wetter and water cant run coolant)
cant run nitrous, superchargers or turbo, internals must remain stock, and the crank cant exceed 1600 cc so you can see how budgeted everyone is

That piston rule really limits what you can use ... what's your game plan?

Re: (Eran)
basically go ***** out with out worrying about motor problems, bringing a professional attitude toward amtuer racing
"finally some b16 love"
then you would apreciate the H1 b16 class
the crx has a b16a in it, i have 2 bare blocks i got for cheap, really cheap , b16a2 replacement pistons in the jdm block (i can use any domestic market honda/acura part)
1 engine PR3 pistons
2 engine the same b16a2 replacments
3 differnt heads all same (skunk2 cam gears, type-r cams, valve springs, retainers) port and polish (i am using the full 1 inch given on all port matching done)
3 fidneza flywheels
2 cable s1 tranny's
some after market clutch(dunno yet)
obd-1 chipped p28
conversion harness
2 sets te37's tires unknown atm
3 sets arp headstuds (thats a given)
blox type-r manifold again taking the inch
have to have the throttle body and again taking advantage of the t/b bore
1 set driveshafts autozone lifetime warranty
still getting more stuff but ya im going all out

not if you use race gas with good tuning and obviously milling is limited

i never suggested milling, someone suggested a head swap to drop comression i simply said that instead of buying a new head you could just mill the existing head if that was the goal... i do see your point though, i have no idea what the rules are. link?
