Default Honda Automatic transmission

When I'm cruising and let off the gas, the tranny downshifts and kinda jerks slowing to a stop. Is that normal? I'm new to this automatic thing

It should jerk a little bit, kind of like when you down shift your manual car.

its a upshift, when you let off on the gas, your throttle is closed, and your engine shifts to a higher gear for better gas mileage thinking your just gonna cruise. when you hit the throttle hard, it downshifts to get the revs up for power. when you let off the throttle and come to a stop, each "bump" is a downshift followed by a blip up in the RPMs, which is getting you into low gear cause of low speed. any more questions lemme know.

they are "good". Honda is not known for them. They are Honda good i mean, but will not take super abuse like all other honda's pieces. if used easily, they will stil go forever like the manual ones.
