I put a kit together for myself, I went with steel washers instead of golden brass tho:

much cheaper and just as good. PWJDM kits are way overpriced.

These caught my attention, will be doing hood bolts, headlights, fenders and grounds like this tomorrow evening, will post so nice pics, thanks for the DIY idea

It doesnt matter who did it first, all that matters is which one looks CLEANEST!

Re: Homemade "password jdm washers"

For 20 washers I just spent 25 Bucks with SS Allen Head Bolts. Gonna go back for another 20 to finish some stuff up.

Currently I have 4 for the fenders (need 2 more), 2 for the fuse box (needs 1 more), 4 For the Headlights, 1 for each bracket next to the headlights, 5 for the bumper. 2 for the AC Brackets, 1 for the Radiator stay.

I know I need to use some CLR or something on some area's where water sits when I wash the car.

Not bad, still a better price than PWJDM. I paid 25 for the 20 I have so far. And will pay another 15 for another 20 today.

In the midst of making mine currently, I opted for black hex fathead bolts in black since my engine bay is black, cleaner and blends in better i am hoping, will post finished products later.

Candy Blue--here is my engine bay thus far!
