Try this site first... on the drop down menu select turbochargers....

hmm looks like this may be an error... i thought the 99-00 SI kit was the only legal obdII kit for civics i could be wrong... the greddy site still says the sohc kit is only for 92-95 civics

So are they saying GReddy has now come out with a SOHC 6G Civic kit or what? i'm confused on that.

They have been saying for a while they were coming out with the 96-00 kit. Guess they finally got it ready. I think they mean 96-00 EX or CND SI which is a EX basicly.

Looks like 96-00 guys can get a legal $1400 turbo kit now

that's been there for a while....I think they just gave mucho money to carb get the exemption, while they produce the kit for 96-00 ex civics....but who knows?? one of the reason I got 92-95 kit on my 00 ex is because I have seen that also

too bad HKS canned the turbo kit project...I believe you could buy their turbo manifold though but be willing to pay mucho dollars for their products..they dont call HK$ for nothing

but what I don't understand is how can all greddy kits have the same EO number..and there dated from over a year ago.. or is this only showing that they have filed papers for Carb EO number.. oh yeah gabe your link doesn't work

yea that's kind fishy.....they have three different things on one number, one saying it's not legal on obd2 cars, but another one says it's legal
but at least I got something to hope for and show if I get caught

ALL/ANY AFTERMARKET EXHAUSTS are not considered smog equipment. The catalytic converter is the last smog thing you have to worry about. The only issue you will have with Cat-backs is if they are loud or not.

i talked with a CHP guy and he said ALL modifications to your exhaust are illegal. i even asked him if it would be legal to modify it and have it be under 95 db like it says in the vehicle code book and he still said NO. he even showed me the vehicle code book and i even read to him where it said it was OK to modify it as long as it was under 95 db. he STILL said ANY mods to your exhaust are illegal. i guess he couldnt read. no love for imports from cali cops. i guess the modified exhaust law only applies to us. domestics are exempt.

it says delsols are not exempted. i dont get it...same engine, same turbo, same weight class, almost same chassis, but not pass smog...??? anyone?

If i can find someone who doesn't care about visual, will my car pass smog with the turbo? Stockeverything even boost..thanks

Greddy emailed me after I asked them what kit they carry has that EO# on it and they came back with the older "Black boxed" 92-95 kits.
