holy fried wires. whatabitch!! found cause of seven codes being thrown.
So i began fixing my 7...yes 7 different codes my ecu are throwing. I am under the hood and getting 9 volts +/- .2 to the map and tps.
I began digging, first thing i do is go to unplug the ecu and HOLY ****....one whole plug has been melted and has speaker wire pushed though the holes. Imagine that, it is where most wires for the sensors throwing codes are located.
I would have never imagined...
Damn. this is going to be a long day.
I would have never imagined...

It makes you wonder that when people post up their problems, do they really have a problem or is it their wiring/installation.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Thats nothing. My boy is building up a turbo DA. When he got the DA, half the **** didnt work right, was throwing codes and all... so we ripped everything out. The entire left side of the interior wire harness, the part that runs through the firewall on the drivers side, was fried. ALL of the wires were melted together. And of corse, DA's change from OBD0 to OBD1 half way through their run, so finding a replacement harness that would work was impossible. I spent three days rewiring it all. Soldering all of the connections. Took forever, but it all works! Everything works now. Just have patience, be careful, and solder all of your connections.
Good luck!
