hole in tranny

well, w/o looking at it... this is all I can say. 3,5,R share the same shaft, meaning the gears are all pressed on a common shaft. I can only assume something in that assembly decided to jam up and bust outta the case. hence, no 3,5,R + you have a hole in the tranny. but the question is pointless, you obviously need a new tranny.
as for why, you prolly chipped a gear, and the chunk of tooth that was chipped off bounced around in your tranny till it found a nice place to jam up cause the hole in ur tranny

your on honda-tech, what do u expect? my frined put a hole in his tranny but he would always beat on it, like doing neutral drops. he did hit against a curb ella hard and thinks that the axel orsomething went into it cuz 3 days after he fixed it, it broke. how do u drive?

what?all the gears have corresponding main and counter gears on the mainshaft and countershaft.having either shaft bust out of the case would most likely result in no gears working.
did you hit something ans make the hole?if so,since the shift forks are in the leading, lower edge of the tranny, you could very possibly have damaged one or more of them.
or,is the hole somewhere that road damage couldn't cause it?if you did break an internal part in there,it's possible for it to get bound up somewhere and either pushed out of the case,or cause something else to get pushed out.
