Default Holding power? ACT HDSS VS Exedy Organic

Hey guys,

I was looking at clutches and was trying to decide which one to go with for my B16A2.... right now its stock (just bolt ons) but Im thinking about turboing or going with a jackson racing supercharger in the future.

Anyone know what the holding capacty is of these two clutches compared to one another? Theres about 160cdn in the price difference (with the exedy stage 1 being cheaper) and NO this is not the OEM replacement version.

I want something with a light pedal effort as I've heard a few people complain about the ACT being about 1/2 to 2/3 heavier than stock.

Thanks!

PS. Forgot to mention this is for a daily driver.

Default Re: Holding power? ACT HDSS VS Exedy Organic (mik101)

i have an exedy organic and it slips alittle after a shift. but its good for a stock feeling clutch. havent had it just slip from torque/acceleration yet. but the motor i drove it on is only 170hp (b16).
my adive is if your going to have a car under 190 hp this clutch is fine. once your in the 200 + maybe step it up alittle more
