HO2S rewire
Hi everyone!
First of all i would like to thank you all! The whole site helped me a lot since i reading it.
Secound, forgive my bad english. I am a hungarian and a starter in english.
So i bought my 96' Civic MA9 (D15Z3 engine) about 2 years ago. I did not know anything about cars back than, but i try to skip up now!
So since than, occasionally my CEL light came on. Now what i think that it is because some stupid thing installed right after the 5 wired o2 sensor. (Please refer to the pictures)
There is also a small control panel, where i can change the position of some lever. I noticed that the more lever is on the more my CEL light came on.
So what i want to do, is to simply eleminate that thing, and connect the wires again, but skip that little metal box causing the problem.
Is there any special way to do that, or i can just simply blank the wires and connect them togeather again?
Unfortunately a new OEM sensor would be about 300$ here in hungary, also no aftermarket sensor with 5 cabels available. And i dont want to buy a brand new in case if it is working perfectly without that little ....
Ok i just find out that i am a trial user and can not attach pics, but later i will. That make things a little harder although...
Thanks
