Default Hit a few snags in my EG...

OK, I have a 92 CX. It came with a pair of one-off Benen seats, the passenger side was mounted to the stock seat rails/slider with minor fabrication using Sparco seat brackets. All is perfect on that side...

Here is my problem, the driver seat was mounted directly to the floor and was too far away from the pedals for me. The rear outer OEM mounting position (the little hump) is gone, a flat plate is in its place. The other 3 mounting locations are good.

I bought a set of rails/sliders, and quickly saw this would be no cakewalk. How hard would it be to have a welder fabricate a new mount for the rail? I am not overly concerned about the fabrication needed on the LH seat rails/sliders, just the rear outer mounting location.

I can post pics tomorrow night if any of this is unclear.

I don't think the rear outer has to be EXACTLY like OEM, just has to mount up and be secure.

Sucks, oh well.
