Feel like a retard it was due to my sound system. The reason it stopped when I was parked is because I would take the face plate off.

98 civic hatch cx with a 2000 si b16 swap:

Not stock exhaust.

I can hear a high pitch noise, only when my car is moving and revved above 3k rpms any gear. It is coming from the engine bay. It does it in neutral with the clutch disengaged as well, but only when moving. Does it when accelerating, and also when I let off and just stay at a constant rpm. The higher I rev it the louder the sound, and also the lower it is the quieter it is, completely dependent on rpm not the speed the car is going.

Anyone have any ideas?? It would be much appreciated.

Can not replicate it if my car is not moving even if I rev the engine high.

Do not have PS or AC.

have a cold air intake?


i kno when i had my gsr it would whistle at certain RPMs with the intake on i think all gsrs at least do it

thats all i can think of
