high idle - jdm gsr motor with typeR ecu
My car is a 97 civic hb, with a 97 jdm gsr motor...
here are my mods:
ctr cams
skunk2 throttle body
skunk2 intake manifold
blox velocity stack
blox air cleaner
benen fuel rail
b&m fuel pressure reg
b&m fuel gauge
dc sports 4-1 header
Mugen twin loop catback with magnaflow high flow cat
I just installed a P73-003 ecu, adjusted the fuel pressure to 50, although it idles around 1100-1200... seems kinda high.... what do u guys think?

Take it somewhere to get a "base" tune. You have....
So go get a base tune. You have all these parts on a ob2 (if I'm not mistaken) ecu and you didn't mention it was tuned. OBD2 ecu's aren't as forgiving on "dropping" in parts in a motor. It looks to me you need a tune....
On an ignorant side note....
Rotating the Throttle body? Please, sell your car and get a Hybrid.......

Re: high idle - jdm gsr motor with typeR ecu
EDIT: just noticed you have a skunk 2 TB I dont know if you can adjust those. If you really do want the idle to go down then you will have to get a tune, that would also get some extra hp out of all your mods.
