High compression on stock b16 !?
I have an b16a2 ( 160 hp ) civic. For the moment i have just a CAI and exhaust and a socketed ECU prepared for chipping.
I was thinking to rasie my compression at about 11.5 by milling the head with about 0.04 inch ( 1 mm ).My concern is that the piston could touch the valve ( also i have stock cams ) or maybe is too much compression on the stock motor and pistons would be a problem ?
Also would i need some dyno tune or just a set of cam gears ( to put the timing back to place ) and retard the dizzy manual a little bit would be enough ? And highest pump fuel of course.
Opinions ?
