Hids on high beam only!

Hids on high beam only!
well I recently put hids(PnP kit) in my car.but in oreder for them to work I have to have my high beams on for them work.Is there any way I can use them without putting my high beams on?Its on a 98 Hb.

You could try wiring them correctly...if the socket you used is making the highbeam indicator come on, switch it to the other one.

There is only 1 way to plug it in.It came wired.All i had to do was install it.and everything was installed as told by the instructions.Its a pnp kit.

dude.. just switch the positive wires on the harness around. The positive wires on the PNP kit's harness. The 3 plug one that looks like the 3 plugs on your H4 lightbulb. Switch the positive wires. If theres only 2 wires then switch that positive wire to the other positive connector. Just find out which of the 3 is the negative and leave that one alone. Switch whatever other wire there is, to the other pin and you cant mess up.

maybe the kit u baught only has hid bulbs for high beam ive seen kits that are only for low/high beam or both

No. That's not the problem. There is no HID kit strictly for high beams. He installed it incorrectly, or the instructions for installing are wrong.

Exactly. I didnt think it was that hard to figure out on your own, but there you go.

when i turned my normal lights on,nothing happened.turned on high beam and BAM they worked.
