HID question
how would a set of HID's look like with a headlights like these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33710
will it produce alot of glare, what about a cut off line?

the bulb will burn those things down so fast, i would look into retrofitting if you were gonna do HID

If you want true HID's in your car.Just get the complete projectors/hids system off a hid car(s2000,bmw,etc)then retro fit them into your stock headlights.Kits like that on ebay are junk!!!Sure they look nice but the light beam will look like ****!

Although they don't look like the best housings in the world, to answer your question HID's would look fine in those housings. In most cases HID's are designed for projector housings, for minimal glare! They definitely won't melt the housing either.

Well the best aftermarket projectors i heard with great review for the 92-95 civic are the Elegant by TYC projectors, have the options of two choices, Chrome or black. I got the black on my civic. The beam is great, and they have an 2 year warranty. But if you don't to pay an arm and leg for HID'S or getting them retrofit. I Would recommand the TYC projectors which are the next best choice. I love mines.

yes a retrofit is the only way to do this. its costly. look around about 400 for a single xenon kit (low beams only) or abour 450-500 for a Bixenon kit (High and low beams).
I will be doing retro's for EG's very shortly in my spare time. the complete retro process takes me about 8 hours and another 2 hours for adjusting. and then building the harness will be another hour and a half.
