hid problem plz help
i just got a brand new hid kit. plugged everything in upgraded the fuses. had everything for about 3 days. when i turn them on they are fine but as soon as i drive down the road they flicker but remain on with no other issues. i searched as well! bad ballast, bad bulb? i have the balllast mounted slanted. could i lay them flat and see if that works. everything is plugged in tight i will double check again. oh i have no relay either
thanks

Heehee, now I get to refer you to the brand new lighting section!
https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum/107
There you go. This post will be good to help the section grow, so if you could have your topic relocated to there, that'd be great.

no it wont be solved with a relay harness. BUT you should really get one after you get new ballasts. I've burned my stock light harness without one, good thing i catched it before it caught on fire!

you have two things that might be wrong and both have been answered in this thread...
a) you have a bad ballast
b) the grounds are weak and need direct contact to metal on the frame...
mine are flickering now but only because i have a bad ground...

how would i wire the new ground to the metal? from the headlight wire or where it connects from the hid kit?
