Default HID pictures

here are some pictures that I took tonight with my GF Christmas present an Sony DSC-P7 not too bad for a little camera. Still learning how to use the setting of the camera, I still don't think the pictures speak for the performance of the lights. It's the best 435.00 I spent on my car!

Here they are 6000K kit

Wall Picture

Light on the road

Shot from top

Front Picture

Front Side

Any imput on the lights?

damn... $435.. lighting on the ground is not that good (or maybe its the pic?).. I guess thats how 6000K kits are... they are just dim, not as bright as the OEM HID (4300K)

although Im sure its brighter than halogen headlamps, and has that cool purple color or whatever..

They are really bright, the color is blue not purple or the tinted HID kits. It could be the pictures, but really the pictures don't do justice for the HID.

I got this from Japan, kit is made of Hella ballast and bell-of capsules

Light on the road

the light distance of the picture above is more then 1/2 block deep and about 1/2 lanes wide. Also the picture is taken right under the street light.

How brite doyou need them?

The range is really good, and the width is pretty good.

Thanks

thats your optics.. not the HID.. however, 6000K will dim out a lot quicker to the sides, and forward distance than the 4300k, but still..$435 is a good price and at least its better than halogen..

go take pics on a dark road w/ no other lights around. That's the main reason I got HID, because I do alot of night interstate driving.

Denis Si: In the middle picture, it looks as if the beam is very high. Notice it comes right up to the windows on the cars. Doesn't that blind people?

Hey Denis Si, how much did you pay for your kit? That website doesn't have prices. Also, what kind of camera are you using, those pictures came out really clear. on your HID kit!
