Default hiccup type problem.

I have a 97 civic ex coupe. recently it's been havin this problem an the closest thing i can think of to explain it is hiccup like things. just kinda cuts out when your foot is on the gas an will come back in a couple of seconds later. needs a new o2 sensor. my dad thinks it's a fuel or spark problem. any help would be appreciated. thanks

Are you reffering to the idling issue? If it is....it's the IACV unit. It must be cleaned.

and Check your distributor rotor and spark plugs. If it isn't any of those....post back.
