Default Hi-new to Forum question IRT O2 sensors

Just joined in.
My daily driver "ole faithfull" is giving me some problems. 1993 Civic EX 1.6L auto. Last week I got the engine light and experienced loss of power over 3K. Took to the dealer and they saidI had low cylinder pressure on #3 and code 16 (fuel injection). Estimated $1600.00 took it to a Import specialist and had the head pressure tested new valves put in #3, valve job on the rest, new head gasket, new timing chain, new water pump and ofcourse new fluids. total $800.00 not bad.
Note I am a Chevy guy
( my webpage http://temp.corvetteforum.net/c3/cali77l82/ ) and have had bad luck working the Imports.
Anyway I noticed after picking it up the of the line power is down and I twice have gotten the engine light on the way back from work. Light will not come on at all going to work (same distance) in the morning. All temps, are good. Believe it to be that code 16 I mentioned above and maybe the O2 sensor is bad. In other words nothing to do with the head gasket issue at all. If one of the O2 sensors was bad than the computer would be working overtime readjusting the A/F mixture to over compensate and thus the lower off-line power and decreased fuel economy.

Problem is before I start spending more money on a 11 year old car I want ot make sure this is in fact the issue at hand. Request any and all advice.

Thanks in advance.

Cali.
