Default Hi/Low beam switch

Hey guys I'm a noob to these forums so I thought I'd just put my issue out here and see what kind of feedback I can get. I'm sure this is a easy fix but just thought I'd check on here to find out.

I have a '94 Del Sol S non vtec 1.5 that I've had almost 3 years now and ever since I got the car the low beams haven't worked. The high beams are what I've been having to use ever since I got it. I replaced the bulbs initially and tried the low beams and still nothing. There was a couple times in the past I tried switching with the lever and they came on for a brief second and then immediately went out. Could my problem be within the high/low beam switch or is it some other wiring issue I'm unaware about?

I hope this is enough info for you guys, any and all feedback is much appreciated.

Yeah I know 3 yrs is a long time w/out low beams, luckily the car is lowered and the headlights were positioned at a point where it wasn't very noticeable that the high beams were on.

I tried the above listed post of dis assembly and I cleaned everything and re greased it and still had no luck getting the low beams to work. I've checked the fuse and it wasn't blown so I'm guessing I might just have to replace the whole assembly.
