Default HEY WIERD clicking sound from engine PLEASE help!

Just my luck i fix my fuse problem i had earilier and now another problem.

At around 2000RPM my motor makes this wierd like clicking sound, kinda like a rattle, but it isnt the heat sheild or anything like that. It comes right from under were it says the engine code, in there. Right after the 2G rpms it goes away though. Im not sure its wierd i dont feel it in the shift *** or anything like that. My engine light hasnt gone on yet so i dont think its got to do with that.

but please help me out.

thanks alot you guys rock

get a long screw driver hold it where the noise coming from and listen it with your ear. it could be a lot of difference noises come from the engine.

check to make sure that your exhaust is hooked on to all of your hangers, it might have fallen out. it did it in my hatch and only rattled at about 2000 rpms.

If it's only at that rpm, it is likely just a rattle. Good luck finding it, they are a bitch to locate sometimes.

Well last time I heeard a rattling coming from under my hood the alternator wasn't siezed long afterwards. And man was that ever a bitch to change. Someone had jammed a bent pivot pin in there that took about 5 hours to get out. What a treat. check that out, but if you've already changed it then I have no idea.

Is this coming from the engine? It could be the valves. I used to have a huge rattle 2-3K, especially when cold, with the same engine. Did the valves this weekend, car's never run better, no noise at all.
