don't need to cut a hole for the shifter. The hole on your auto chassis is actually bigger than the 5 speed. only thing you have to cut is the upper tranny side engine mount chassis bracket then weld one on from a 5 speed.

actually...*place racing* makes that mount for easy bolt in...beyond the obvious things *pedals, clutch hard lines with reserve tank etc* the change over its not hard...as far as wiring...everything stays the same.. if ya have mo questions PM me...peace

actually, there will be two holes and you'll need to fabricate something to fill the oval one cause it makes a lot of noise and lets in a lot of hot air....i went with a re-weld and a new bracket straight from honda...40 bills and it took 20 minutes...other than that, the installation of the hydrolic cable (something else you'll need) was kindof a pain in the ***, it has to be fit into and aaround a lot of ****. it also helps if you don't have ABS, if you got any ?'s let me know

alright here is a link on a how to and it will tell you pretty much all you need to know except you need to rewire something if you are keepping the automatic ecu and i dont know what that is cause i did a whole motor swap at the same time so i didnt have to deal with it.

also i currently have for sale the pedal assembly the clutch master cylinder and the clutch lines.

I just got done doing my auto to manual swap and IMO was very worth it and very simple....for cost, I was lucky and paid a girl $150 to strip everything off of her civic that she totalled...

Yup, did the motor swap(B18B) and auto to manual swap by myself.....and lovin it! Saved me an assload of money! Only cost me $60 total in bay fees to use the hydrolic lift and every tool imagineable at the hobby shop at the base i'm stationed at!
