es makes the inserts for front lower 2 mounts (left & right), and the rear mount. do all three, it's a great upgrade.

D series shift linkages suck ***. a heavy **** like the skunk2 might help your cause out a little. i'm not a fan of short shifters, but one may be worth considering.

so if i am understanding correctly, (correct me if i am wrong.) You cant get the car into gear when you are moving right? and dose this acure only when the car is moving, or always? cause i had the same problem and i just put gm syncro mesh in and then i could put the car back into gear even just fine. also do you have a pic of the mounts that you are talking about? i want to do some mounts to stiffen things up. and what is this window stuff you are talking about?

window weld that rear mount up. that one makes the biggest difference.

Like I said online, your motor is shifting backwards like a rocking chair under boost, when you try to shift the motor flexes forward and it is hard to get an accurate shift. Get the ES inserts and put the rear one in or you can use window weld as said before. I have the ES rear insert in and I love it.

It's not the high boost but the high RPM's that's making it hard to shift into the next gear. The transmissions synchro's slow the gear down enough to engage the next one. As the synchro's go bad, it takes longer to slow the gear down enough to get into the next one.

In other words, it's probably your synchro's going south. 3rd gear synchro seems to go out first from my experience. It only takes a few hard miss shifts to damage the synchro's permenantly. There's a few shops around that will now put in carbon fiber synchro's and it's supposed to dramaticly improve high speed shifting.
Also, GM synchro mesh works good (Adds friction to the synchro's at higher speeds to slow the gear faster) if you haven't done to much damage to the synchro's already.

I got mine at GM parts direct for less than $7 dollars a quart but you need to buy 6 at a time. Atleast you'll have some to change it out later.

you can also get the pensoil syncro mesh. Just go to your auto parts store, or even walmart.

I can get you GM Synchromesh for $5/quart, but it would have to be shipped also so it might not save you much.
