Hey, I need help soopin' up my 1997 Honda Civic Ex. Ok. It's compelety bone stock-besides the Irudium Spark Plugs, and NGK Spark plug wires. Now, I was thinking of a engine swap. I was either thinking (I know this is out radgous but I got he money) a B18C Spoon engine. Then when I get the spoon engine, I was going to get the head ported and polished. Then I was going to get lower compression pistons, and then turbo that sucker. And then do the modifications to the turbo and motor as if I bough the car already turboed from the factory. Then you know, after I get the turbo, I was going to do the basics, Intake, Exhaust manifold, and Exhaust. Then after all of that money spent, into great products, I was going to get some CF Hood, CF Fenders, CF Lip, and then CF Side Skirts. Then, I was going to go back and do some MORE head work - Camshafts, aggressive cams, adjustable cam gears, throtle body, vavles, vavle springs, and vavle retainers. I know this all sounds rediculous, but I'll do anything to get all of this. Thats why I'm working alot to get all of this money, plus I as saving up from, since like, I was, 11. Please give me your feedback and maybe something different or to go upon modifing my Honda Civic a different way. Oh, and then after the head work, I was going to do, pistons, piston rings, connecting rods, and anything else I forgot. SO PLEASE HELP ME! BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO MAKE ANY MISTAKES!

Research. Read this board for a few months before you go blow a bunch of money on something useless like a turbo Spoon engine.

Regarding the engine swap, do your homework, make sure you know exactly what you're getting into before you start buying parts, you'll save yourself the headaches, not to mention the cash. good luck

The guy is going to get a Spoon motor, then later on he is going to get the valve train, pistons, rods, etc....... I must be confused on the spoon motor thing. Does spoon make Engine blocks?
