hey guys im new
wassup everyone, jus moved here to sd from hawaii, found this site cuz i was looking for eg cars/parts. so when are the meets and all that?

Welcome to Honda-Tech.
First things first: now that you're in the Golden State, the legality of your car is a big thing. Look into the possibility of BAR'ing whatever engine you put into your car, and getting only CARB legal parts. If you don't, eventually the profiling of Hondas will catch up to you, and you'll get a mandatory trip to the federal referee.
Also, since you're in SD, I may suggest a healthy dose of security for any Honda you have.
As for the meets and whatnot, as was suggested above, check out the local listings for meets, and start to get to know people here. Once again, welcome to H-T.

thanks for heads up guys. and i dont got no pics of my car yet, anyway its all stock still so nothing special about it. Im from maui- lahaina side.
also, where would i look to get my motor bar'ed?

I vacationed in lil lahaina... beautiful place. Anyhow, welcome.
If your car is stock you dont have to worry about it being BAR'd. If you have a motor swap and its from the same year as your car or newer, preferably a USDM swap, then you can get it BAR'd at the local community college most of the time. Check google for bureau of automotive repair...
