hey guys, i need your help on what to get to put my car together
im going to be buying a 94 civic dx coupe from a dealership, its actually a trade in on my car. I have the choice of two engines, a B18A1 or a B18B1, i told the guy that i would want the B18B1 since thats the newer of the two engine, is that the right engine to get? Also the car needs a new transmission because the old one was completly fucked, i am looking for an Ls or a GS-R transmission right now. I am also going to be getting a new clutch and flywheel while its apart and i need your advice on what to get, its going to be a daily driver and eventually im going to go Ls/Vtec or turbo or nitrous, which clutch would you get.
So my three questions are
1) should i get the B18B1 or the B18A1 for my civic
2)should i get the LS or GS-R transmission and what are the codes for each from a junk yard
3) Whcih clutch and flywheel package should i get, i cant spend more than 550 for the two of them so should i go stock clutch with a lighter flywheel or what?
thanks a lot guys for the help, i really need it

Re: hey guys, i need your help on what to get to put my car together (dose)
The SI tranny has the shortest gears, followed by the GSR and then the LS....I would suggest either the SI tranny or the GSR tranny, because the first 2 gears on the LS are LONG. Also, Id go with the B18b because it came out of a newer car than the b18a. Best of luck man!

i would go with Act they have really good clutches. I believe they are one of the best.!!http://www.clutchcityonline.com/main.php?page=act1.htm or try this...http://www.coximport.com/act/apps.html < this one says they sell them at whole sale price haha. But the first one is the real site for Act so check it.
