Hey everyone, my "new" purchase.

Hey everyone, my "new" purchase.
Well, after a long, lengthy process of researching Honda's and attempting at selling my 2000 Chevy Blazer to downsize and upgrade to a Honda. Yes, upgrade . I found the car I wanted to buy on craigslist about a week after selling the Blazer for $3500 and bought a '92 Honda Civic DX hatch for $3,100.
Here it is:
AND WHAT I PAID FOR
Yes I already purchased an air filter to slap on the obnoxious 3 inch silver tube.
These are the goodies installed:
B18B1 Block
Type R head – 3 angle valve job, port n polish
Type R transmission with LSD
Type R water pump
Skunk 2 Intake Manifold
Skunk 2 Stage 2 Camshafts
4-1 DC headers
Short ram intake
AEM fuel rail with pressure regulator
ECU – chrome P28
Ground Control Coilovers
Mugen Replica front lip
Tokico Shocks
Skunk 2 Front Upper Arms
Rear Camber Kit
GSR Fat Fives
STR Rear Bumper
This is my first Honda and so far have been loving everything about it. I have a lotttt of work to do as this car is in need of some real TLC (i.e.- Rear interior is gutted, no speakers, door panels are barely hanging on, manual window mechanism on driver side door is stripped, door locks are a bitch to unlock/lock, no a/c, p/s, or seat belts for the rear seats that are still in the back. etc.). I'm really excited, I love the car and the future I'm going to have with it. As a 15 year old coming of age to drive, I always wanted the fast cars that the privileged kids all were bought instead of my mom's 99 Chevy Suburban (9-10mpg). Then I learned about Honda's and EVERYTHING beautiful about them. I started researching and have fallen in love, three years later here I am with my first Honda and have been smashin on those kids BMW's, TC's, New si's, etc. gettin 25-30mpg(conservatively speaking).
I LOVE MY HONDA
I have a lot more to learn and can't wait to get my car in better running order (it has been leaking oil pretty bad, mainly after I drive hard). Because of this, I have been driving as little as possible and hitchin rides with my GF in her 5th gen Lude. I need some help on what might be necessary in stopping the oil leak, I know it will be helpful to get more pictures of what I'm talking about, so I will attempt at getting those in the next few days since it has been raining pretty hard here in SoCal.
I'm sure I could say more about my Honda, but will leave that to answering any questions or concerns you may have about it. If anyone has any thoughts on my purchase, let me know how you feel about it. I'm sure I'll get flamed for something! Constructive criticism is all good, as I am still young and in need of more research in the Honda scene.
Thanks guys and I hope you like what you see!
Kyle.

Re: Hey everyone, my "new" purchase.
Nice come up. Thats if the oil leak you have is something easy to fix.
Hey did you remember to get the dyno sheet of the cars tune?
Also just remember if you have a stock LS block, you cant spin into type r redline.
You gotta keep it close to the LS redline depending on the tune maybe 7.5 grand
Also be on the lookout for the previous owner (or his friends) cuz people like to sell modded out cars and then steal them back with a spare key/alarm remote.
Just keep this in mind and youre good
Congrats keep us posted sir

Thanks! It's got some work cut out for it but it'll be worth it in the end.

Re: Hey everyone, my "new" purchase.
Also please put security plans into the future ASAP. Look at the audio/security forum here on Honda-Tech. Do a little research into the stealth alarm installs. I spent a week researching and bought all my stuff. And put it in myself. Install the alarm, etc yourself as the generic installs(best buy, etc)aren't worth a penny. They mount the alarm brain and siren in plain sight and no backup battery. Thieves are past this in a hot minute. Don't become a victim of a theft. Lots of others as well as myself learned the hardway the first go around.

Thanks, I feel the same way, just hope the oil leak will be something minor!

Re: Hey everyone, my "new" purchase.
Cool car man. I doubt 197 whp but I'm sure it's a quick, fun car. I agree with getting the bondo out of where the moldings should be and eliminating the speed holes. Looks like you got a pretty good deal though, congrats on getting a Honda!

Re: Hey everyone, my "new" purchase.
Thanks everyone! It's pretty quick, I'd say about the speed of a Bugeye wrx maybe a little faster, but I really don't know for sure yet. Speed holes are first to go, then the side moldings. I'm definitely satisfied with the speed as of right now(RIGHT NOW-tomorrow's another day), but still really want to get it in proper working order. Hopefully in the next few weeks. Then I'll be thinking about more power. My ultimate goal is to turn the n/a into f/i in the months coming forward and to also get the interior ship shape so I can carry some passengers and put my subs in!
Thanks again everyone for looking! I'm glad everyone thinks it's a good deal.

NEED HELP!!!
About 3 days ago I was driving in the rain and realized my CEL come on. I have been having some slow oil leaks since I bought the car, not sure where it's coming from. I did the CEL code process and that led me to code #22-VTEC Pressure Valve and #43-Fuel Supply System. Where should I start looking to fix this problem and what do you suppose is causing these codes? Any hints or tips on this problem?
