hey can find anything on cv joints! could some1 help me out/
i need to fix my civic its a 97 ex and i need to replace the driver's side cv joint axle could some1 help me?!!

1. take middle wheel key off.
2 jack car up put jack stands under neath.
3 take wheel off.
4. unscrew lower castle nut.
5. there will be a bolt going threw the control arm unscrew and tap out.
6. where you took the first castle nut off your going to need to unhook the brake asymble from the control arm,you might need a pickle fork to unjam. sometimes it needs some nice hammering action on a pickle fork.
7. now its time to take the cv joint out. get a crow bar and keep prying and turning on the cv joint till it gets out. sometimes it takes a while other times they pop out nice.
8.if your not done with 7 take a break get something to drink. and get back at it. it will come out just keep prying and trying twirling sometimes that helps.
9.get new cv joint and plop it in there good. make sure all the way in.
10. repeat 6 to one backwards.
11. pat yourself on your back your on your way on being a master.
