Here's my new clutch!

Well,

I bought a DPG clutch. It was sort of custom made for me. I have no idea how it will work, but DPG broke off from running the R&D for clutchmasters and ACT and are now selling their own product. They sounded like they really knew what they were doing. Anyways, what do you think? I'll tell you how it works out.

kind of a noob question, but what will an upgraded clutch do for you?

no slip along with great traction. a friend of mine named Mitch had a del sol with a b18b with a racing clutch. it cherped all the way into 3rd. he could also do some massive burnouts. ahhh the good ol days

What was the price on it? Don't forget to keep us informed on how it works for you.

I bought it for $350 from a local shop in Bakersfield... My sig is a lie... not from beverly hills, but i do have a 93 dx hatch with b16asirII. Anyways the clutch seems fine. Grabs, but not too hard. People were betting that I would kill the car. Nope. The car didn't die. I got skills. hehehe... But it was supposed to be comparable to the ss organic of ACT but a little better. Well, here are pics of the old broken clutch.

check out the peice that broke off in the circle:

Well, i'll tell yall how well it goes after i break it in.

Peace

dude i put a clutchmasters stage 3 in my civic ls and i can cherp 3rd easy and if i try really hard i can cherp 4th. i really like the clutch. i learned why it is a street/strip. it engages sooner if you have the rpms up higher. and not as soon or as hard when it is lower.
now is that true. is that what it is supposed to do. i dont know but i really like it. and i hope you like your clutch too.
peace

I've got the CM stage 3 and love it. It engages realy good and the pedal pressure is just alittle bit stiffer then stock.
