Hems. What is it and where would I go.
OK……
I have read multiple references to the helms manuals. I have even been to the web site http://www.helminc.com . I am not sure which of the manuals I would want to look at getting nor do I see why I would want one of these over the cheap *** Hanes I have at home. If any one could justify why I would want one of these extremely expensive books and which ones I should get if any I would be very grateful. I just have never heard of a Helms book till I started posting here last week.
Thanks for the help.
P.S. I have a 96 4dr. LX

There is a rumor floating around that there is a downloaded version of the helms, on the internet somewhere, i would think it would be 300 pages long, but still... beats buying a 70 dollar book?? anyone know about it?

haynes is crap...chiltons is worse (ive used both)
helms is a god sent
helms is a god sent
same here, I've got both haynes and chiltons but to me the chilton worse then the haynes.
helms owns both of them. you can't bet oem manual because both chilton and haynes don't have torques spec PERIOD!!! and they don't go into small details specs that's why I only refer to the haynes if I need to.

Yeah there's a PDF version floating around. I'm not a big fan of copyright infringement, though.
Just spend the cash, god knows you're gonna spend a lot more money than $50 on the rest of your car.
