Default HELPPP WITH MY EJ2

just last wk my heater started acting funny. It blew then it stoppes blowing then it blew really lowww on max speed. when it turns on itll make a small ticking sound from under the glove box. I need this fixed please help

possibly the blower motor going bad

Yes thats a thought. I did google before i posted cuz i know some people hate to see others asking questions but im not familiar with this kind of issue as its the first time its ever happen to me.

Any other ideas or ways to tell if its the blower motor. I did check the fuses n relays none blown

get a known good blower motor and hook it up in your car, if it acts the same way then it could be your blower motor resistor.

ive fixed problems like this and its usually the resistor but if its making a lot of noise you might wanna do the whole blower motor with it.

I took the resistor out and put 1 from my buddys civic and still same thing. I read to tap on the blower and if it starts working means its going bad? I did tap on it when it was on and it started to blow for a little time.

change the blower. should take care of it.
