Default helpp! i drilled my cylinder head bolt to big

okay that was a confusing title but heres the problem:
i was in the proccess of fixing the thread on my gsr head bolt and i used a drill bit that fit in the cylinder head bolt hole just about perfectly but i guess i was touching the headbolt walls while i was drilling down, and now my m11x1.5 tap wont work because its not catching the walls off of the headbolt hole, and my helicoils need the m11x1.5 to go down the thread by the tap in order to fix my thread, what can i do here guys?? please help me out! any one ever had this problem?? is my block ruined?

I'm sure ARP could make you a special bolt but.. that would be pretty pricy.

Welding the hole and starting fresh sounds like the ideal plan, though, you will probably have to disassemble the entire block so they can heat soak it before they wled, that way it doesn't warp while being welded.

i'm confused. stock is an 11mm bolt. why would a helicoil be the same outer diameter?

i used a m11x1.5 tap which is slightly biggerthan the helicoil so the helicoil can screw in then te bolt gets screwed into the hlicoil,
if i dissasemble it, can i puteverything back otgeher with the same parts or do i have to but neweverything? i dont have the cash to buy parts only for machine work thats why
