SO i took the dash out my car and now i cant figure out how this damn heater cable was routed. Every path a take it either comes out too long or too short when i go to connect it to the heater. ANyone have a pic or could explain how to route it? Here are the pics i got, you can see the black cable in the top of the pics

Do you need the connector locations for the top or bottom end or both? I remember it being long but had a clip thing to hold it near where it connects at the bottom.

The top connects to the underside of the climate control and the bottom part has a clip then it slides onto the heater valve. I know that, what im asking is whats the right path to guide the cable down there? When i get it down there and clipped it, i cant get it to where i can move the control from all the way cold to all the way hot. It either is too long and i cant move it to all the way hot, or too short and cant move all the way cold. Hope im making sense here

I'm having a similar problem, although I never removed my dash. I only remove my climate control unit to change the light bulbs. For some reason when I hook the cable back up (and clip it in on the bottom) to properly adjust the temperature completely, my glove box won't fully open. So either I have it properly hooked up, and the cable is somehow hitting my glovebox latch so it won't open all the way or I unhook the cable.

Imagine everything hooked up correctly if you look at the end of the heater cable. When you open the glove box it will not open all the way because the left hinge roller thing is hitting the cable. Somehow my cable should be taking another path to where it needs to go.
