Have you tried plugging the holes on inside of your throttle body with your finger? The top one goes to your Idle Air Control Valve and the bottom hole goes to your Fast Idle Thermo Valve. Try plugging each one or both and see what happens to your idle. If it corrects, then you found your problem.

Low antifreeze can also cause a erratic idle because of the air bubbles in the system. Have you checked your coolant level? Do you have enough coolant in your overflow incase you are low?

Sorry. I thought you had the ZC ECU to test with.

I have done that with my car. when I plug the IACV hole in the TB it idles fine. but that doesn't tell me what is wrong. it tells me that there is too much vacuum in that port. but how the heck do I fix that? besides plugging that hole..haha. Ive changed the IACV two times and also the FITV, Intake manifold, injectors, TB and some hoses. Still nothing. if you could explain what you mean by "if it corrects, then you found your problem" please explain. Thanks

by the way just to see if ur throttle cable is not improperly adjusted, when ur car surges put ur foot under gas pedal and pull up to see if idle goes back, if so then readjustment tension on idle, same happened to me
