Help wiring Z6 dizzy ignitor unit
Tore it open for parts but ended up needing it. Figures.
There's 3 tabs on top & one on the side next to the coil. Facing the outside, I need directions on lead locations.
Here's my wire colors & a photo...
YEL/GRN.c (from the coil)
YEL/GRN.h (from the harness)
BLK/YEL
BLUE

I don't have a WHT/BLU or WHITE wire as detailed in my photo, and the WHT/BLU wire in my harness goes to TDCg.
The WHITE wire on OBD0 is exchanged with the YEL/GRN in OBD1, but given the diagram does not match my application I can't assume that's the case here.

Your pic is out of focus, does the Blk/Yel terminal have two wires in it. These are your numbers, not your colors though.
#2 Blk/Yel, power from Ignition switch, to Ignition Coil +
#4 to Tachometer
#3 to Ignition Coil -
#1 to ECM
This should be it.

I understood the numbers to colors from his diagram based on the orientation of the side tab, but given they're wrong it won't help me much. If there is an internal circuit schematic of the actual ignitor unit then I should be able to figure it out from there...

I removed the other colors from my post above, trace the #1 wire to the ECM with an ohm meter, you dont need the tach wire to start the car (I am guessing its still blue), the other two are given to you for the ignition coil. Process of elimination should work here.

I just switched them around until it worked. Figured trying 16 combinations would take less time than waiting for a response from richporter.
For future reference, here's what I have:
1. YEL/GRN.h
2. BLK/YEL
3. YEL/GRN.c
4. BLUE
