help window issue.. 00 civic si 50k
alright i have a problem with my window.. i can push the switch down and the window will go down.. but it wont go up when i push it up on the passenger side.. if i use the other switch on the drivers side it will go up real slow.. i was thinking i needed a switch because i thought the switch was flubbing up.. but i was informed i need a power window regulator.. anyone know if i need the motor or is the power window regulator included with the motor or do i need a motor.. and where can i order this for a good price at?

First of all, wrong forum: https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum?id=1
You only need the regulator, and probably the run channel. The run channel is the rubber moulding that guides the window up and down the track. The glass can sometimes work itself out of the track, due to excessive play in the regulator. Once the glass is out of the run channel, the rubber is deformed and won't hold the glass very well. The motor is mounted on the regulator, but doesn't need to be replaced.
I hear Honda has a regulator you can get... Check any of the parts places online, or your dealer.

It may not be exactly like your problem my wifes 99 si did something like that a couple of months ago.Pop the door panel off and check the tracks, make sure window is in track correct/rubber in track isnt twisted.Doesnt hurt to spray silicone spray down track with window down, then roll window up-repeat a couple of times
