Help? When braking from high speeds I get a jerk?
When I'm either braking from high speeds such as 80 or 60 off the freeway or what not but car jerks one time, like the rpm needle goes to 0 and then back to 2 or whatever and I'm sitting there like an idiot, it doesnt really happen unless I'm sorta slamming on the brakes? anyone?

I don't understand what you are asking.
Is the car shutting off?
Is the car pulling to one side when you are braking?
What exaclty are you asking?

Sounds like your Battery Cables may be lose and hitting your hood or frame which would cause the needle to drop the way its happening

yeah it doesn't do anything but supply power to the car and screw things up when it shorts. friend had a similar problem with a b16 CRX, cable kept shorting on the hood screwing things up. he did the extreme and moved the battery to the trunk but there are other ways to fix it.

thats the cable, not the battery.
batteries dont supply power to the car(other than audio and ****), they start the car. if the cable shorts out, its shorting out the alternator.

true but if your ground hits the frame or the hood it will cause a short and the car the guages will drop and come back up since it connects.... trust me i know because this issue for a few weeks and i did test it

Check your cables and make sure its tight thats always the first thing you want to check..

I dont mean to sound like an *******... but when you are hitting the breaks in the fashion that you described, are you slamming the break for a second and not sinking the clutch?
