The male side goes into the hub. The female goes into the intermediate shaft. What you have to do is get a hammer and hammer it out of the shaft, not easy i tell you right now.

When I replaced my clutch, I didn't take the intermediate shaft apart from the axle. I couldn't get it apart.

Ok. I thought i explained the problem well....anyway....i'll try again.
I know the male goes in the hub. The other end (which is female on every car i have owned) on this is actually a male and the Intermediate shaft is the female???
I thought i could just use a passenger side axle but they are about 5/8" longer?
Any one know what this setup came from so i know what axle to order?

I actually have a JDM GSR and mine arent like that. My axle is male/female same with the intermediate shaft.
Pics would be alot better too.

I meant like the early jdm b16 from a CRX? I think that is what they are from.
I don't want to pull the axle just to take a picture, its pretty easy to imagine,
On 99% of b-series the drivers side cv axle has a male shaft on the hub side and a female on the Intermediate shaft side. Mine has MALE shafts on both ends.
i will see if i can get a pic without pulling it apart.

here is a pic but you can't see the shaft. I would have to pull the axle to get a good pic and i don't want to pull it until i have the replacement.
Any one with ideas or a NORMAL intermediate shaft for sale?
Sorry about size. This laptop isn't mine. Top is my motor...bottom is axle. You can tell its differant.

yea its from a 90-93 teg. no big difference, just gotta remember that for your drivers side u order the 90-93 axles, because of the intermediate shaft. this happened to my friend shortly after he bought a hatch.
